Copper Canyon V Marigold aka “Mary” is the oldest daughter out of our Sunny and growing into a long, tall, dairy doe like her dam. I am so excited to see this doe freshen this year and hopeful she will have an udder like her dam. Mary’s sire is Blissberry RH Valerian. A long, tall, dairy buck who worked in our herd 3 years and eventually worked himself out of a job. A full brother to SGCH Blissberry RH Vallelujah EX93EEEE and Blissberry RH Vallerina EX92 EEEE, he’s got a lot of beautiful, powerhouse does in his immediate pedigree.

We are unsure as to who we will breed Mary to this spring for fall kids. We could go with Blissberry Oh Yeah in hopes of striking lightning like we did with the breeding to her dam this year or we could breed her to Blissberry MD Thor to do a neat line breeding on SGCH Blissberry Rain or Shine (Rain son to a Rain grand daughter). Both options are tempting so we shall see.
